Dieterich school board members took no action this week as to whether to modify the district's Return to School Plan.

The Dieterich board voted in July to follow the Centers for Disease Control directive to recommend mask wearing if not fully vaccinated, but not to require masks. That was before Governor Pritzker's directive to mask up.

Board President Corey Niebrugge said the Board was to revisit the issue at Monday's meeting, but two members were not in attendance and Superintendent Cary Jackson could not attend, so the matter was tabled until a time when the full Board and Jackson can be there.

The first day of attendance for Dieterich students is next Tuesday, the 17th.

The Board did grant a leave request for Ryan Repking, and approved the resignations of Karen Huber and Samantha Flach. Members heard that student enrollment numbers continue to increase.
