The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education will meet Monday night at 5:30pm to decide on the district Return to School Plan. The document is formally called the Plan for Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services.

The vote will come in the wake of Governor Pritzker's mandate that all those in school buildings must wear masks.

The Board will then meet in closed session to consider personnel matters and collective bargaining matters, with some open session action expected on personnel matters.

The meeting will take place at the Unit 40 offices on South Banker Street in Effingham. The meeting will also be streamed on YouTube.
