UTV Does Damage at Mach 1 on South Banker

A UTV...a utility terrain vehicle...did damage to the Mach 1 location on South Banker in Effingham Monday night.

Effingham city police report the UTV driven by 26-year-old Brandon Smith of Mason entered the parking lot, then struck and damaged a fuel pumps, protective post, and trash can. The UTV accelerated and proceeded to strike and damage an additional fuel pump before overturning. 

No one was injured.

Smith was cited for possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI, driving while his license is revoked, and reckless driving.
