Brownstown Resident Gets Prison Time for Criminal Sexual Assault

A Brownstown resident has been given a five-year prison sentence for aggravated criminal sexual assault.

20-year-old Kage Bolyard pleaded guilty to the count in exchange for dismissal of a Class X Felony count of predatory criminal sexual assault. Bolyard was arrested last August for the sexual assault of a girl who was 12 years old at the time of the incident in 2019.

Bolyard will serve two years mandatory supervised release once out of prison.
