Alivia Huddleston is 2021 Miss Jasper County Fair

Alivia Huddleston was crowned 2021 Miss Jasper County Fair Monday night. The coronation took place at the conclusion of the Queen, Junior Miss and Little Miss Pageant at the fairgrounds in Newton.

17-year-old Queen Alivia, who lives in Newton, will compete in the Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in Springfield in January for the opportunity to be crowned Miss Illinois County Fair. 

Natalee Colwell was named first runner-up. 

Zoey Michl was named Jasper County Junior Miss, while Sophia Kidwell was chosen first runner-up.

There was also a Little Miss program.

There's a full day of pulling today at the Fair. Antiques competed early this afternoon, pulls are planned at 3pm and 6pm, and a pedal tractor pull is set for 6:30pm.

The carnival opens today, as well.

The Jasper County Fair in Newton will run through Saturday.
