State Capitol Reopening Monday

The Illinois State Capitol is preparing to reopen to the public.

Both the Statehouse and the Stratton Office Building will open on Monday. Starting then, those who have been fully vaccinated will not be required to wear masks or socially distance inside.

Anyone who has not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will still be asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Public tours will resume, and permits will be issued for gatherings and demonstrations.
