Clay County board members heard at this month's meeting that work on the bridge carrying the Sailor Springs Road over the Little Wabash River at Louisville is in the homestretch.

Clay County Engineer Darin Koelm said the work on the bridge should be completed in time for the fall harvest.

The Board concurred with appointment of Dr. Calvin Wilson, Dr. Mike Klingler and Mike Frost to the Clay County Board of Health for three-year terms, and approved the appointment of Brad Rudolphi of Wendelin to fill a vacancy on the Clay County Board of Review.
