Dieterich school board members Thursday filled teaching and coaching vacancies created by the upcoming departure of Josh Krumweide.

The Board hired Colton Booher as PE and Health teacher, and also hired Booher as head high school baseball coach. The Board also hired Brent Bohnhoff as head high school boys basketball coach.

Krumweide is leaving Dieterich to teach and serve as varsity boys basketball coach at Athens.

Booher, a St. Elmo native, comes to Dieterich for his first full-time teaching position. He has experience coaching athletes of all ages, most recently as JV boys basketball coach at Effingham High School and as the Hearts varsity assistant baseball coach.

Bohnhoff has had a variety of coaching experiences with all ages, in both baseball and basketball. A release from the Dieterich school district states: "He is an active member of the community and is passionate about growing Dieterich's athletic programs."
