One Person Injured in Crash at Grove and Henrietta

One person was injured in a collision at Grove and Henrietta in Effingham just before 1pm Tuesday.

Illinois State Police say a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Collin Habing of Watson turned from Grove onto Henrietta. The Habing vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Bryce Batchelor of Effingham as it crossed in front of the Batchelor vehicle.

Batchelor was transported by ambulance for treatment of what were termed non-life threatening injuries.

Habing was cited for failure to yield.
