Stew-Stras School Board Chooses 21-22 Officers

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members Tuesday choose its officers for the coming term.

The officers are Board President Brent Curry, Vice-President Barry Wittenberg, and Board Secretary Kinda Morris.

The Board renewed district membership in the IHSA and IESA for the coming school year, and approved handbook recommendations for the coming school year.

Board members tabled a memorandum of understanding with the Village of Strasburg on their wastewater project. The school district has had a private septic system, but would like to run a line into Strasburg to obtain sewer service. The parties are still working on additional details of the agreement.
