The murder trial of Christopher Glass has been continued another month. The continuance was granted during a court hearing Thursday morning.

The Mason man is charged with the shooting death of Kimberly Mattingly in April 2020, then helping dispose of her body on property near Beecher City.

The 37-year-old Glass is now set to go on trial on May 24. A final pre-trial hearing is set for May 11.

Glass is being held in Effingham County Jail under $5 million bond.
