North Clay school board members acted on several personnel matters at their monthly meeting.

The Board rehired all certified staff for the coming school year; accepted the resignation of Lisa Pike as junior high Science teacher as of the end of the school year; authorized Superintendent Travis Wyatt to hire for the vacant junior high Science position; accepted the resignation of Karen McMahon as 5th grade teacher for retirement at the end of the 2022-2023 school year; approved an extended leave for the remainder of the school year for Tammy Yingst; hired Julie Jones as substitute bus driver; hired Josh Zink as 5th and 6th grade girls basketball coach; and hired Gretchen Simpson as high school JV volleyball coach.

Board members heard that Pre-K screening will be on April 21-22; approved the tentative calendar for the coming school year; approved mowing bids; approved Summer School to be held during the month of June; approved a one-year renewal with OPAA Food Management for the coming school year; heard about activities during FFA Week earlier this year; and learned that the North Clay school district's Facebook page had surpassed the 2,000 follower mark.
