Effingham County Virtual Job Fair Set for Thursday Morning

A host of local partners are sponsoring a Virtual Job Fair Thursday.

The event will run from 10am to noon, and is sponsored by the City of Effingham, Effingham County Chamber of Commerce, Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and LWIA 23, along with Illinois workNet. 

The virtual job fair is designed as an opportunity for job seekers to discover employment opportunities from local businesses. Attendees can participate from their computer or phone. They will learn about 100+ available jobs from John Boos and Company, Patterson Technology, Sherwin Williams Distribution Center, Siemer Milling Company, Stevens Industries, and Versatech. Employers will detail information about who they are, their current openings, and how to apply. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, as well.
