City Plan Commission Approves Site Plans for Two Developments

The Effingham City Plan Commission Tuesday approved site plans for two commercial development projects.

One site plan is for the Chaser/Raintree Restaurant location off West Fayette Avenue, just west of the interstate. The plan is to add a drive-thru lane along the back of the building. 

The other site plan is for a new location for Top Shelf Beer, Wine and Spirits at 1201 Avenue of Mid America. The location is on the southwest corner of Avenue of Mid-America and Raney Street, just east of Holiday Inn. The 8,884 square foot facility will have a drive-thru lane. The store is now located along Ford Avenue.

The meeting might have been conducted in record setting time, lasting all of 11 minutes.
