Clay County Board Looking to Fill Vacancy

Clay County Board members are looking to fill a vacancy.

Shannon French resigned from her board seat in District A at this week's meeting. French said she resigned due to her new job.

Those wishing to fill the seat should contact a board member or the county clerk's office in Louisville.

The Board voted to appoint Jacob Martin to the Clay County Housing Board for a four-year term, ending December 10, 2025.

Tuesday's meeting was the first successful attempt to hold a Board meeting this month; the previous two attempts were weathered out.
