1,884 New Confirmed and Probable COVID Cases in State Reported Thursday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday reported 1,884 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 32 additional COVID-related deaths.

There were no COVID-related deaths reported in any area counties.

As of Wednesday night, 1,463 individuals in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of these, 334 patients were in the ICU and 168 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators. 

The preliminar seven-day statewide test positivity from February 18-24 is 2.7%.
