16 New Positive Cases in County Sunday Thru Wednesday

The Effingham County Health Department Thursday reported 16 new cases of coronavirus disease in the county from Sunday through Wednesday.
There were five cases on Sunday, one case on Monday, five cases on Tuesday, and five cases on Wednesday.
Here's the demographic breakdown...
SUNDAY--Males--one in his 30s
Females--one in her 30s, one in her 50s and two in their 70s
MONDAY--Males--none
Females--one in her 80s
TUESDAY--Males--three in their 20s
Females--one under age 10 and one in her 60s
WEDNESDAY--Males--one in his 30s, one in his 50s, and one in his 60s
Females--two in their 30s
The Health Department also announced that more than 5,000 doses of COVID vaccine have now been distributed in Effingham County.
Illinois Region 6 rolling test positivity was 3.5% through February 14, while Effingham County was 2.6% for the same period.
The Health Department asks residents to continue masking up properly, washing hands regularly, maintaining six foot social distancing, and avoiding large groups.
