Nine New Positive COVID Cases in County Wednesday

The Effingham County Health Department Wednesday reported nine new positive COVID test results.

The demographic breakdown is:

MALES--one in his 20s, one in his 40s, and one in his 50s

FEMALES--one in her 20s, one in her 30s, three in their 40s, and one in his 50s

Illinois Region 6 test positivity seven-day rolling average was 3.7% through February 7; and Effingham County came in at 2.6% for the same period.
