Beecher City Board Rehires Building Principals

Beecher City school board members Monday voted to rehire their building principals for next school year. That includes Brian Deadmond as junior/senior high school principal and Karen Hanfland as grade school principal.

The Board voted to approve the retirement of non-certified employee David Petty, and to approve the resignation of Kari Deadmond as assistant high school softball coach. Katy Noble was approved to replace Deadmond in the coaching position.

Board members also approved two moves to enhance distance learning, approving the District's participation in the USDA Distance Learning Grant and the Rural Illinois Shared Education Network. The Board also adopted the County Multi-Jurisdictional All Hazards Mitigation Plan.
