Fatal Crash Sunday Near Strasburg (NAME RELEASED)

The Shelby County coroner has released the name of the woman who was killed in a crash Sunday morning near Strasburg.

Coroner Brad Phegley said the victim was 67-year-old Debra A. Lilly of Neoga. Lilly's van was traveling eastbound on Shelby County Road 700 North, a half-mile east of Shelby County Road 2900 East, southeast of Strasburg.

The van drove off the roadway to the left, continued traveling more than 500 feet through a field, and struck a tree. Phegley pronounced Lilly dead at the scene of the crash.

The incident occurred at approximately 9am Sunday.
