St. Sen. Plummer Dicusses Lame Duck Session, Pritzker's Long-Term Agenda

54th District St. Sen. Jason Plummer was disappointed as much by what wasn't addressed in the recent lame duck session of the Illinois General Assembly as what was addressed.

Plummer said there was no action on any measures related to the pandemic and its impact on the state's economy, which he said followed no action, not even any meetings of the General Assembly, for months in 2020. He said he was concerned about the "free rein" the leaders of the legislature gave Gov. J.B. Pritzker during the last year.

Greg Sapp also spoke with Plummer about the possibility that Pritzker is looking ahead past his time as governor toward a bigger prize, one in Washington.
