Altamont Man Injured in Crash in Effingham

An Altamont man was injured in a crash in Effingham during the noon hour on Saturday.

Effingham City Police report a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Thomas Braun of Altamont was traveling just west of 2001 West National when the crash occurred at 12:39pm. Police say Braun lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and struck and damaged storage containers owned by Tri Parts of Effingham.

Braun was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
