29 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in County Tuesday, Including Two Deaths

The Effingham County Health Department Tuesday reported 29 new positive cases of coronavirus disease. That included two COVID-related deaths, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 80s.

The demographic breakdown:

MALE--two in their 20s, four in their 30s, four in their 40s, three in their 50s, one in his 60s, and one in his 70s

FEMALE--one in her teens, three in their 20s, two in their 30s, one in her 40s, one in her 50s, two in their 60s, two in their 70s, and two in their 80s.

Illinois Region 6 test positivity seven-day rolling average is 9.1% through December 12 and Effingham County is 17.1% for the same period.
