129 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 Saturday-Monday

Effingham County's Health Department is reporting 129 new cases of COVID-19 from the period of Saturday, November 28 through Monday, November 30.
54 cases of the virus were reported on Saturday, 38 new cases on Sunday, and an additional 47 cases on Monday. Below is the demographic breakdown.
The 7-day rolling test positivity rate for Region 6 fell to 11.7% through November 27, but Effingham County went the opposite direction, rising to 23.9% for the same period.
Health officials continue to urge the public to follow safety guidelines to help reduce community spread, adding in Monday's release that "it is up to us to come together and act for the benefit of everyone. Wear a mask, wash up, and spread out."
