Two Additional COVID-19 Deaths in Effingham County, 75 New Cases Announced Tuesday

The Effingham County Health Department added two additional deaths attributed to COVID-19 Tuesday, along with 75 new cases of the virus.

The deaths of two women, one in her 80s, and another in her 90s, are under investigation.

The new case demographics were released in the following graphic.

The Region 6 test rolling 7-day positivity was reported at 13.4% through November 21, with Effingham County at 18.7% for the same period.

Health officials continue to urge the public to "wear a mask, wash up, and spread out."
