118 COVID Cases in County Over the Weekend

Effingham County Health Department received notice of 118 new positive cases of coronavirus disease from Saturday through Monday.

There were 22 cases on Saturday, 53 cases on Sunday, and 43 cases on Monday. 

Here's the demographic breakdown:

Saturday, November 21--Males--one less than one year old, two in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 50s, three in their 70s, one in his 80s; Females--one in her 20s, two in their 30s, one in her 40s, two in their 50s, two in their 70s, one in her 80s, one in her 90s, one 100 or older.

Sunday, November 22--Males--one less than one year old, four in their teens, two in their 20s, two in their 30s, six in their 40s, four in their 50s, two in their 60s, three in their 70s; Females--two less than 10 years old, one in her teens, three in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 40s, three in their 50s, three in their 60s, two in their 70s, six in their 80s, five in their 90s.

Monday, November 23--Males--two less than 10 years old, one in his 30s, one in his 40s, seven in their 50s, four in their 60s, one in his 70s, one in his 80s; Females--five in their 20s, seven in their 30s, one in her 40s five in their 50s, four in their 60s, three in their 70s, one in her 80s.

Illinois Region 6 test rolling positivity dipped slightly to 13.7% through November 20, while Effingham County rolling positivity decreased to 18.5% for the same period.
