Lane Murder Trial in Cumberland County Continued to New Year

The Cumberland County murder trial of Toby Lane has been continued until after the new year.

The 44-year-old Lane is charged with first degree murder as well as aggravated domestic battery in the July death of Bridget Duncan. Duncan died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Lane's trial had been set to begin on December 2. On Monday, the trial date was vacated. A pre-trial conference was set for January 4, but no new trial date was set.

Lane remains in custody under $1 million bond.
