14,612 New Cases of Coronavirus Disease Reported Thursday in Illinois

The Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday reported 14,612 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois. The report noted 168 COVID-related deaths.

The statistics include two deaths in Effingham County...a male in his 70s and a female in her 80s. Cumberland County also had a COVID-related death of a woman in her 90s.

The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from November 12-18 is 12%. The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity from November 12-18 is 14%.
