Brownstown Board Discusses Winter Sports Schedule

Brownstown school board members Monday discussed the IHSA winter sports schedule and mitigation guidance.

The IHSA Board is to meet Thursday to further discuss the issue.

Brownstown's FFA officers made a presentation to the Board, the proposed tax levy was discussed, and the school district report cards from the state were reviewed.

The Board discussed a new bus lease agreement through Central States Bus Sales, and approval was given to purchase a leased 2018 school activity bus.

The Brownstown board employed Ray Lake as a part-time temporary custodian for the balance of the school year.
