60 New Positive COVID Test Results in County Thursday

Effingham County Health Department received notice of 60 new positive cases of coronavirus disease Thursday.

The Illinois Region 6 rolling positivity climbed to 12.7% through November 9. Effingham County's rolling positivity rose to 21.7% for the same period.

Statewide, there were 12,702 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases Thursday. There were 43 additional deaths statewide Thursday, but none in area counties.
