More Than 10,000 New Cases of COVID-19 in Illinois Reported Monday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday reported 10,573 new confirmed and probable cases of Coronavirus Disease in Illinois.
The report includes 14 additional deaths, two of those in Coles County.
The Coles County deaths were those of a female in her 50s and a male in his 70s. Coles County reported 24 new cases on Sunday.
State numbers indicate close to 500,000 cases, and more than 10,000 deaths, in Illinois.
The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from November 2-8 is 11.4%.
Shelby County Health Department reported 14 new cases Monday, including one new death.
774 Shelby County residents are out of isolation.
Clay County Health Department reported 49 new cases from Friday through Sunday. That's the greatest number of cases in a three-day period for Clay County to date.
