A Shumway Man and an Altamont Woman Injured in Separate Accidents

Tuesday morning at 10:13 a truck driven by Larry F. Laue, 78 of Shumway, was traveling westbound on 2000th Avenue while a car driven by Taylor R. Baker, 20 also of Shumway, was traveling southbound on 700th Street in Banner Township. Laue proceeded through the intersection and collided with Baker's car. Laue then overturned just west of the intersection and came to rest on the driver's side.

Laue was transported to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

 

Monday Afternoon at 1:52 P.M. at the intersection of Jefferson and Henrietta a vehicle driven by Daniel J. Doedtman, 79 of Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Tamara D. Klepzig, 55 of Altamont.

A passenger in Klepzig’s vehicle, Karen A. Klepzig, 79 of Altamont, sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

Doedtman was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.

 

Later Monday at 4:07 P.M. at 706 S. Willow a vehicle driven by Joseph C. Kingery, 19, Dieterich, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Ashley D. Tieffel, 35, Effingham. 

There were no injuries, however Kingery was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
