Effingham Co. Adds 11 New Positive Cases

Efifngham County Health Department received notice of 11 new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease Wednesday.
The 11 included two females less than 10 years old, one male and one female in their teens, two males in their 30's, one female in her 40's, one male in his 50's, two males in their 60's and one female in her 60's.
The State IDPH Mobile COVID-19 Testing Unit will return to Effingham Friday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be located at the Effingham County Health Department (ECHD), 901 W. Virginia Avenue in Efifngham.
This service is available to anyone seeking testing. No appointment or physician order required. There is no charge to individuals for the COVID testing. Please present insurance card at time of service, no one will be denied due to having no insurance. There is no fee to you but billing insurance will help pay for the service, allowing more individuals the same opportunity.
