Another continuation has been granted in the murder trial of Christopher Glass of Mason.
(GLASS)
The 37-year-old Glass is charged with the shooting death of Kimberly Mattingly in April in a rural area near Beecher City.
Effingham County Public Defender Scott Schmidt Thursday requested more time to develop his case. Judge Jeffrey DeLong granted the extension.
The judge set a new pre-trial hearing for November 12, and a new trial date for November 23.
Glass is being held in Effingham County Jail under $5 million bond.
