Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris says his office covered three in-home deaths in less than 48 hours this week.

Tuesday afternoon, Vandalia police contacted the office regarding a death on Randolph Street. At the residence, 58-year-old Jeffrey Hill was pronounced dead.

Just after 1am Thursday, Vandalia police contacted the office and requested them to go to the Vandalia Ramada Inn. At that location, 78-year-old John Reilly of Chesterfield, Missouri was pronounced dead. Harris said Reilly was in Vandalia to play golf with friends.

At 10am Thursday, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office dispatched the coroner's office to St. Elmo, where a 65-year-old man was found dead in his home. The man was identified as William Mietzner.

No foul play is suspected in any of the three cases, and all three deaths were ruled due to natural causes.
