Teutopolis Village Board members this week voted on work on the new village hall now under construction.

The Board approved work by Premier Fire and Security including a fire, burglary and access system alarm, along with closed-circuit television, and a voice data cabling system. The work will cost $34,200.

The Board also approved the installation of solar panels on the new building by Tick Tock Energy for $49,998. The Village is applying for a $15,070 credit to offset some of that cost.

Board members approved a Tax Increment Financing agreement with Community Support Systems. The agreement involves a one-time payment by the Village for exterior improvements on the CSS Corporate offices along Main Street and will total $8,550.

It was also agreed to release claim on a lot in Prairie View Subdivision, and to transfer $672,000 from the Building Fund to the General Checking Fund for payments on the village hall. That included a $203,508.08 payment this week to Grunloh Construction.
