12 New COVID Cases in Effingham County Thursday

12 new positive Coronavirus Disease cases were reported Thursday to the Effingham County Health Department.
Four cases were those of males, one in his teens, one in his 40s, and two in their 50s. Eight cases were those of females; one in her teens, one in her 30s, three in their 40s, two in their 50s, and one in her 60s.
A reminder that the State IDPH Mobile COVID-19 Testing Unit returns to Effingham on Saturday from 9am to 5pm. The testing unit will be stationed at the Effingham County Health Department offices at 901 West Virginia Avenue in Effingham. The free drive-thru testing is open to anyone with no appointments needed. Those planning to take advantage of the free testing are asked to take along their insurance card.
