North Clay school board members Wednesday approved a collective bargaining agreement with the North Clay Education Association.

The contract is retroactive to 2019 and will run through the 2022-2023 school year.

The Board, on a 4-3 vote, decided to expel a student for the remainder of the current school year. The expulsion will be held in abeyance to allow the student to attend the Regional Office of Education Safe School in Willow Hill. Members Griffy, Dawkins and Kincaid all voted No.

Board members also voted to accept the resignation of Rendell Flood as fifth and sixth grade basketball coach, and to spend up to $24,999 on the purchase of an activity bus.
