Woman Found Dead Near Ramsey Monday

A woman was found dead Monday at a residence east of Ramsey.

Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris said the woman was identified as 29-year-old Michelle Deffenbaugh. Harris said his office was dispatched to the residence and found Deffenbaugh unresponsive. She had been found by her fiance upon his arrival home from work.

No other information is being made available. An autopsy to determine the cause of Deffenbaugh's death is set for Wednesday morning at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
