County Clerk, County Treasurer Offices to be Closed Wednesday

Effingham County Clerk/Recorder Kerry Hirtzel and County Treasurer/Collector Paula Miller remind that their offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 9. The offices will be closed to permit flooring work to be done in the lobby area between their offices. Both offices are located on the second floor of the Effingham County Office Building, 101 N. 4th Street.

The offices will re-open on Thursday, September 10.

There will be assistance on the first floor for persons who have need of either of these offices on Wednesday. Couples who wish to obtain a marriage license this week should phone 342-6535 for an appointment with the County Clerk's office.
