Clay Board Looking for New Member

Clay County board members are looking for a new member. 

Vernon Guinn submitted his resignation as board member from District K last night.  Since Guinn is a Democrat, Clay County Democrats will be asked to submit a nominee to replace him, but the Board confirms the replacement.

The Board appointed Robert Briscoe as a Harter-Stanford Fire District trustee, Laren Erwin as a North Clay Fire District trustee, and Kevin Henry and Robert Simpson as Clay City Fire District trustees.  Members also heard a presentation on the audit of the past fiscal year's books and no discrepancies were found.
