60 New Cases of Coronavirus Disease in County Since Friday

Effingham County Health Department is reporting 60 new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease since Friday.

There were 27 new cases on Friday, six on Saturday, and 27 more on Sunday.

The Health Department reports two individuals of those 60 have been hospitalized. 

Effingham County has surpassed the 500 mark of positive COVID-19 cases this year since the first cases were reported at the end of March. The county was at less than 140 positive cases at the beginning of August.
