Coronavirus 2020

Neoga Elementary School switched to remote learning as of Monday after positive COVID-19 cases were found among a staff member and a student.

Neoga Superintendent Bill Fritcher said they learned of the positive tests on Sunday afternoon. Fritcher said a couple of staff members had been quarantined and one of those tested positive. That individual, though, had contact with additional staff members. Add that to a student's positive case and the decision was made to end in-classroom classes at the elementary building, for now.

Fritcher said they intend to be back to in-person classes on September 2.
