HSHS St. Anthony's Requests Public Hearing on SBLHS Plans for Effingham Project

HSHS Health Systems and St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham is requesting a community public hearing on Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Systems' request for a new facility in Effingham.

The new building on Evergreen Avenue is to replace the current Bonutti Clinic and to house other SBL facilities in Effingham.

During a phone conversation Monday morning, HSHS St. Anthony's President and CEO Theresa Rutherford said the HSHS objection is not due to Sarah Bush's desire for a new building, but for the size of the project and some of the services to be contained there.
