Demonstration Supporting Post Office Planned Saturday Morning

A demonstration in support of the US Postal Service is planned Saturday morning in Effingham.

Organizer Bill Passalacqua said he is planning a "small, masked, socially distanced demonstration" in front of the Effingham Post Office from 11am to noon. Passalacqua said, "We just plan to hold signs and express our support for the service that USPS provides. We will not impede vehicular or pedestrian traffic."
