31 COVID-19 Cases Locally the Past Two Days

Over the last two days, the Effingham County Health Department received notice of 31 new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease.
All of those individuals are in isolation.
The Health Department advises that as schools in the area are reopening and students are moving through the community, to take the precautions urged in the past: wear a facial covering in public, wash your hands, and watch your distance.

Shelby County Health Department announced that four additional county residents have tested positive for COVID-19. One of the four has been hospitalized.
