Teutopolis school board members Monday reviewed the tentative budget for the coming fiscal year. Final action on the budget is expected at the Board's September meeting.
The Board also voted to transfer $700,000 in funds from the Operations and Maintenance Fund to the Capital Projects Fund. The funds can then be used for payments on ongoing construction projects.
The Board got updates on the Phase II construction work at Teutopolis High School, an insurance claim and repair update on the roof of the high school building, a COVID update and the district reopening plan, and also adopted poilcy changes approved for second reading.
Board members approved resignations from Carlene Weber as a high school Math teacher retroactive to August 11 and from Lisa Miller as a junior high part-time cook retroactive to July 28.
