The Teutopolis Village Hall is coming down.
The landmark structure will be replaced by a new facility.
Located along Main Street in Teutopolis, the building was constructed in 1888, and originally served as the fire house. The upstairs area was first used for school rooms and for the showing of motion pictures. The village office is currently located in a building behind the hall that serves as an incubator for start-up businesses.

The new building should be finished in March or April of 2021.
