Dieterich school board members have approved the district's remote learning plan and the district return to school plan.

The plans are available for review on the District website at dieterichschools.org.

In a letter to district residents, Dieterich Superintendent Cary Jackson said school will be in session each weekday. There will be an early dismissal at 2pm to allow time for district teachers to deliver remote instruction. Tutoring services will be available from 2 to 3:30pm. Services will be free of charge and available for any student wishing to participate. Teacher availability will vary depending upon remote instruction duties.

Dieterich's after school program will be available 2 to 6pm on days school is in session, at $7/day/student.

Also, Dieterich will be providing ALL students an electronic learning device, including remote learning students.

At a special meeting, Dieterich school board members approved an agreement with Mose, Yockey, Brown and Kull for fiscal year 2020 audit services; and hired Cheyenne Brickner as the district music teacher for the coming school year.
