Semi Runs off Highway, Hits Trailer, Which Hits Building

A semi ran off US Route 40 on the west edge of Effingham Monday morning and struck a trailer, which then struck a building.

The incident happened at the Wooden Spool on Henrietta Street. Fire Chief Bob Tutko said no one was injured. The impact caused structural damage to the building.
